Summary0001772: [Smart3][UI541] Request optimization for FW image(free space)

UI541 is OS10 , the branch is
repo init -u  ssh://git@bitbucket.skbroadband.com:7999/fstbq/manifest.git -b BFX-AT100_5.4.1

Custom Webview was applied to UI541. (The webview method applied to OS12 was also applied to OS10.)
Applying Custom Webview results in a lack of space.
Currently, it can be built, but SKB is asking for optimization.

please proceed with optimization
- removing unused APK or files
- compress zemkids

And removing YouTubeKids and AppleTv apk should proceed after discussion with SKB.
I will update this part after the meeting.

I am working on compressed ZemKids for UI541, but current ZemKids can not be executed. so I can not verified it. Could you please check it?

Hi Jason

Currently, UI541 branch has UI540 zemdkids app. So it can't be executed.
Digicap will update zemdkids app later for UI541.
I'll check it after update

Hi Jason

Critical issue was observed after downgrade from v15.541.12 to v15.540.16
https://jira.skbroadband.com/browse/BPM-23096

When I checked the cause,
There is an issue when updating zemkids (compress zemkids) to zemkids(non-compress,lower version)

v15.541.12 : compressd zemkids (stub-apk method)
v15.540.16 : non-compressed zemkids

The reproduction step is as follows.
1) STB FW is v15.541.12
2) Update to v15.540.16
3) First time booted and Video is ok
4) Power reboot does not boot normally

When I test it(ND), there is no issue when zemkids is not compressed.
First, please remove the zemkids compression on UI541. (free size is expected to decrease. )
And please check if SD FW is built
If it is built, please share the USB update file (SD version)

If you send me the SD file, we will check it again and let you know.

It seems that the compression method can be removed with minimal modification without revert all of them

Additionally, if you put jiraID as a comment when committing, you can see the committed list when you enter the corresponding jira

Hi jason

The issue was resolved when I test it wite the FW you sent me
( FYI , the remaining free spae is about 32Mbytes )

Please apply it to UI541 when you're ready
